Welcome to Northington Elementary School. I am Ingrid Edwards, the principal of this great school, where everyone is a "STAR." We are very excited about the 2009-2010 school year at Northington. Everyone is working really hard to make sure that our children succeed to their highest potential. We have definitely set high expectations for Northington, and with confidence, we will exceed these expectations. Our faculty and staff are very caring and enjoys working with our children. We are an Alabama Math/Science and Alabama Reading Initiative School. We are involved in PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies), M.O.M.S. (Moms on the Move), and F.I.R.E (Fathers Involved in Revitalizing Education). There will be lots of exciting things happening this year.
